Objectives
- To understand the function of the front office and to understand the role of front office operations in the successful running of a hotel.
- Τo learn the relevant skills required to run a front office and to use the knowledge gained in theory lessons and apply it practically in the training reception area including front of house software programs
- At least two visits to local hotels to view their front office operations and one week's training in the front office of a local hotel
- To gain an insight into the role of the Front office Manager and have an understanding of general management activities related to the Front office of a hotel like guest services, accounting, night audit and revenue management.
