Το «Αkademia κερνάει καφέ» και σε προσκαλεί να ζήσεις τώρα δωρεάν και από κοντά την “Starbucks Experience” και να μάθεις τις βασικές γνώσεις του καφέ, την Τετάρτη 8 Δεκεμβρίου στο Starbucks στον Πρωτάρα!
Στο πλαίσιο του μαθήματος του Κολεγίου Akademia, «Food and Beverage Management» του Ξενοδοχειακού Κλάδου Σπουδών, την Τετάρτη 8 Δεκεμβρίου, το Starbucks στον Πρωτάρα, υποδέχεται τους σπουδαστές και όλους όσοι θέλουν να ζήσουν από κοντά την πραγματική εμπειρία φοίτησης, στο Αναγνωρισμένο Κολέγιο της περιοχής, για ένα από τα πολλά, συναρπαστικά events, που συμπεριλαμβάνονται στο πρόγραμμα σπουδών της σχολής.
Πάρε γεύση από το Starbucks Experience και τους κορυφαίους επαγγελματίες της αγοράς και «κλέψε» τα μυστικά της γνώσης στην πράξη, σε ένα διαδραστικό event που στόχο έχει να σε μυήσει στον δυναμικό κόσμο της εστίασης και της παραγωγής καφέ!

Our Hotel Administration programme students and faculty (accredited by the CYQAA/DIPAE) visited the Ayia Napa Marina. At ACC Akademia College we strive to strengthen our students’ skills and industrial knowledge by gaining first-hand experience of the workplace and other potential opportunities in the hospitality industry. Among our goals, to best prepare, our students are the building of an extensive network of hospitality industry contacts and the enhancement of our students’ reputation who are professional, enthusiastic and results-oriented.
Students and staff were warmly welcomed by the HR Executive, the Commercial Area Manager and the Sales Manager. During the visit, it was discussed the construction progress of Marina and the different activities that will take place in the area. The development of a private beach club, the creation of an event centre and the construction of the commercial village which will offer a range of different opportunities and activities to potential guests and residents in terms of dining, nightlife, recreational and shopping experiences. A guided tour was given on the berthing area of the Marina which can host up to 600 yachts. Representatives of the Marina expressed their certainty that it will become the centre of attention and attraction for Cypriots and international tourists.

Update: Online Lessons & Final Exams
Akademians,As you know the government has started to relax the restrictions of movement from 04 May. In case you haven't seen the full information of the 4 phases, please read them here (PDF document from www.pio.gov.cy/coronavirus/en/)For better safety for you and the college staff & faculty we will continue with the online lessons via Moodle. The lessons will finish Friday 05 June. Over the next few weeks the lecturers will start to go through revision to prepare you for the final exams. This would be the time to ask any/all questions you might have about the topics covered over the semester.The final examinations will start from Tuesday 09 June until Friday 19 June.We will conduct the final exams at the college premises.
There are strict hygiene protocols from the Ministry of Health that we all need to follow. In this respect we will split the classes into smaller groups for the exams to ensure we are all safe.
Each student will be emailed individually with their exam timetable by the end of May.
It is the hope that the government phased plan will go ahead without a big increase in infection rates of the coronavirus.
Our plan to have the final exams at the college are subject to the government decisions on movement. If the government changes their plan, we will need to change our plan.
At the moment, to have you complete your exams at the college in June is our preferred plan.
