Our Hotel Administration programme students and faculty (accredited by the CYQAA/DIPAE) visited the Ayia Napa Marina. At ACC Akademia College we strive to strengthen our students’ skills and industrial knowledge by gaining first-hand experience of the workplace and other potential opportunities in the hospitality industry. Among our goals, to best prepare, our students are the building of an extensive network of hospitality industry contacts and the enhancement of our students’ reputation who are professional, enthusiastic and results-oriented.
Students and staff were warmly welcomed by the HR Executive, the Commercial Area Manager and the Sales Manager. During the visit, it was discussed the construction progress of Marina and the different activities that will take place in the area. The development of a private beach club, the creation of an event centre and the construction of the commercial village which will offer a range of different opportunities and activities to potential guests and residents in terms of dining, nightlife, recreational and shopping experiences. A guided tour was given on the berthing area of the Marina which can host up to 600 yachts. Representatives of the Marina expressed their certainty that it will become the centre of attention and attraction for Cypriots and international tourists.
